They still have a faint scent of new leather. The material is genuine suede leather. The design has wrinkles like drapes. They are comfortable to wear, even with a high instep. I'm selling them because my feet have grown with age and I can no longer wear them. I had a ceramic non-slip sole (4000 yen) applied at a shoe repair shop, so they're suitable for snowy roads!
