Purchased at the Nakagawa Masashichi Shoten store in Fukuoka. This is a Nambu iron wind chime, the Tsubame Suzu (Swallow Bell). It has a warm, deep sound. Swallows are said to symbolize marital harmony, family well-being, and safe childbirth. It was used indoors. There is no noticeable damage, but it is a handmade item.
