There are some wrinkles and signs of use, but no noticeable scratches or stains. Please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about even a 1mm scratch or stain. These pants were comfortable and didn't get stuffy thanks to the Gore-Tex specifications. I wore Geoline underwear underneath and used them even in mid-winter.
