This product contains safe, plant-based lactic acid bacteria derived from traditional Japanese pickles. Each 720ml bottle contains approximately 5.55 trillion bacteria, and just 30ml provides about 230 billion. It is also rich in "organic inulin," a water-soluble dietary fiber of plant origin. Inulin acts as a prebiotic, and is expected to work synergistically with the lactic acid bacteria.
