There are minor scratches on the scabbard and areas where the paint is thin, as well as slight scuffs on the blade, but I think the blade and hilt are beautiful. The construction is solid, and you can use it without any problems for iaido practice or performances. It is light and well-balanced, making it easy to swing, so it is recommended for beginners and intermediate users.
