I have created a thread spool stand with a pincushion, reminiscent of those found in French antique merceries. The stand is made from new materials that have been processed to give them an antique look. The thin rods for holding spools of thread are glued to the base. On the thicker central rod, I have attached a brown pincushion adorned with vintage lace and flowers purchased at a flea market in Paris. When spools of thread are placed on it, it looks like the last reference photo. For shipping, the thicker central rod will be detached, as shown in the 6th photo. Please screw it back in. The pincushion is filled with silicone cotton, which helps prevent needles from rusting. *Please understand that the color variations are intentional as part of the antique finish.
