I made this doll to make use of a small piece of Hanfu from the Qing Dynasty in China. It's just the bodice, but the embroidery is wonderful. I let my imagination run wild and gave it a Sun Wukong and a Peking opera doll. It might be the childhood of the Last Emperor (^⁠_⁠^). I made it for an exhibition at a previous solo show, but it's been in a box ever since. The folding screen has fabric on one side and the calligraphy of the Lanting Preface on the other, so I think it can be used on both sides. I don't understand the content very well, but since it's around March, I thought it could also be used as an image for the Doll Festival. It's handmade, so it's not perfect, but I tried to give it a subdued luxury with obi fabric, etc. The doll is about 20cm tall. The black stand is not included.
