I'm sorting through things at my parents' house and found this kokeshi doll. When you open the lid, which also serves as a container, there are seven small kokeshi dolls of the Seven Lucky Gods inside. The lid is designed to be displayed upright, propped up by the nail inside. Usually, the inside of the treasure ship lid has the character for "treasure" (宝), but this one has the character for "gold" (金). It's been stored in a case for a long time and has some slight discoloration, but I personally think it's in good condition for its age. Please refrain from purchasing if you are not familiar with antiques or vintage items, or if you are overly sensitive to such things.
