This is a handmade kaishi (paper for tea ceremony) case. Its slim design makes it convenient for everyday carry. It has two pockets, useful for storing used kaishi or small items. Bankbooks also fit. Thin interfacing is used, making it soft yet maintaining its shape. The fabric has been hand-washed before being made. The design uses two colors, patterned and plain, giving a cleaner impression than an all-over pattern. The pattern is visible when the lid is opened, and the balance with the plain fabric is carefully considered. The pattern in the photo will be delivered.
