This is a komon (small pattern) dyed using the ishibane-zome (stone slab dyeing) technique. The color is darker than in the photos. It's a reddish light brown. I think it's close to shirocha (whitish tea color). The hakke (lining at the hem) is a slightly yellowish, similar color. Worn once. I had the color and pattern dyed to my specifications, but it didn't suit me as much as I'd hoped. It's tailored with a wider front panel for tea ceremony use. Yuki (sleeve length): 68 cm Mitake (body length): 162 cm Maeba (front width): 28 cm Atohaba (back width): 32 cm Sodetake (sleeve length): 53 cm I used fabric I already had, but it was dyed separately, so the outer fabric was a bit expensive. The tailoring cost about 150,000 yen, not including the price of the fabric.
