This is a reasonably priced fukuro obi made with Nishijin-ori silk. Silver threads run throughout the white background, resulting in a slightly gray-toned silver ground. It features a simple and easy-to-use Shippo (seven treasures) pattern, with glittery silver foil used on the edges of the Shippo pattern, creating a sparkling effect. Although it's a classic Shippo pattern, the clean look with only white thread, glittery silver foil, and silver thread makes it easy to coordinate with various colored kimonos.
