【Hasedera Hanging Scroll】 This is a hanging scroll of a high-ranking priest from Hasedera Temple, consecrated by a monk. I received it quite a while ago from a high-ranking monk at Hasedera Temple. "Keshū" refers to the top person at the temple, a position above the chief priest. It seems this scroll was written by the Keshū of Hasedera Temple (the head temple of the Shingon Buzan sect in Nara). I have kept it in storage without displaying it, and I am offering it for sale so that someone who will use it can. The upper part depicts a Buddhist mandala with Sanskrit characters, and the lower part depicts a high priest. There is a Hasedera Temple seal on the back. Displaying it on a hanging scroll stand is also considered auspicious.
