This item belonged to a relative who practiced the tea ceremony (Urasenke school).
A memo on the back of the storage box indicates it was purchased in 1968.
I do not practice the tea ceremony, so I do not know the details.
It was carefully stored at my parents' house, but I am selling it to declutter.
