The exterior shows signs of wear and tear commensurate with age, but the focus ring, shift adjustment screws, tilt adjustment screws, and all locking screws function smoothly. The optics appear to be free of mold and clouding, but there is some dust and debris present. (See photos 11-12) Even when a strong indoor light source was directed into the lens, no flare was observed, suggesting that it should not affect image quality during normal use.
