It uses a double-woven wool check fabric woven with tightly packed yarns made from the raw wool of Bluefaced Leicester sheep, a long-haired, glossy breed of British sheep raised in the Midlands of England. It has the firmness and elasticity unique to warm British wool, while also featuring a supple feel and luster. The check pattern uses a powerful multi-colored melange yarn, giving a more contemporary finish to the classic British wool and pattern. The lining is fully lined, and cupro is used for the sleeves, making it very comfortable to wear. There are two inner pockets on the left side of the body lining and one on the right side. Standard stand-up collar design. It is a classic fly-front single-breasted coat with a 5-button closure. Flap pockets with single welt are placed around the waist in the front, and a brushed material is used on the back of the pockets to enhance heat retention.
