This is a bowl I purchased at an antique shop in Tokyo. I liked the painting on the body and brought it home with me. The plants and flowers are depicted vividly. The style is different from Japanese pieces. There are some smudges on the inside. Perhaps it's a reaction with the glaze, giving it character. It's difficult to capture in a photo, but there's a faint blue iridescence on the dragon inside. This is something the buyer can look forward to. The underside of the foot has the inscription "Fuuki Choshun," a lucky phrase from China. "Fu" means wealthy, "Ki" means high status. "Choshun" means healthy and long life. There are cracks, hairlines, and chips. There are repairs with kintsugi, but some of the staples are missing. Please check the images carefully.
