This is a Japanese-style applique quilt featuring irises. It is entirely hand-finished, without using a sewing machine. The background is made using finely woven corduroy fabric. Irises are appliqued onto this using cotton sheeting fabric. Although appliqueing onto the corduroy background was difficult, it has been carefully and neatly done. Please take a look at the detailed images.
