Simple and stylish yukata for men. Although the fabric is sturdier than summer wear worn in the peak of summer (July-August), I purchased it as a yukata. Since a single-layered kimono (hitoe) is worn with a nagajuban underneath, the han-eri (collar) is visible at the neckline, but since a yukata is worn without one, there is no han-eri. I believe the material is a cotton and linen blend, rather than difficult-to-care-for silk or uncomfortable, stuffy polyester. The subdued navy color gives an elegant impression, while a slightly pop-like small woven pattern is subtly arranged. Because of its simple design, it can be worn by people of all ages. I wore it for a little over 120 minutes in an air-conditioned room in June, with a short-sleeved shirt and shorts underneath. There are some areas where threads are slightly loose, though not to the extent of being frayed; please check the photos for details.
