This is a plastic model kit of the McLaren Honda MP4/6, a car that symbolizes the early 90s F1 boom in Japan. Ayrton Senna won his first Brazilian GP, achieved four consecutive victories at the start of the season, and won a total of 8 races that year, securing his third (and final) world championship. The team also won the Constructors' Championship for the fourth consecutive year. This model remains highly popular. This is a very rare limited edition, with a body cowl molded from clear resin, a pre-painted Ayrton Senna figure, and tires with the Goodyear lettering already printed on them. A 350ml can is included for size comparison. This is a 1/12 big scale series from Tamiya's flagship brand, featuring a removable nose and body cowl, and a full kit that recreates the Honda V12 engine and gearbox. It's a detailed kit that allows you to experience the feeling of a mechanic, with die-cast suspension arms and the engine being attached to the monocoque with small screws. The Goodyear and Shell logos are also included, so you can build it as the British GP/German GP specification. The clear cowl has no noticeable yellowing and maintains a relatively clear transparency for its age. The markings are from a product made about 30 years ago, so it's uncertain if they can be used as is. The packaging has many signs of wear and tear commensurate with age, including dents, fading, yellowing, and stains. It is currently very difficult to obtain, so how about it for Senna fans?
