It is a women's kimono (haori) that my mother had made a long time ago. The basting thread is still attached, but I am not sure if it is unused. The fabric is not damaged and is generally clean with no signs of use. It has a black crepe-like (?) base with a generous shibori flower pattern. The lining is also lovely, with beautiful patterns of waka poems, autumn leaves, plum blossoms, and a Tamatebako (treasure box). The tatoushi (kimono paper) shows signs of deterioration, but it will be shipped as is, folded small. Thank you for your understanding.
