This is a vintage open collar shirt. I purchased it about 10 years ago at #berberjin. It's a 50s shirt, but in mint condition. Based on the collar construction, fabric, stitching, and the absence of a collar stay, I believe it's from the late 50s to early 60s. Of course, it's 100% cotton and made in the USA. The compass pattern is rare, and the intricate design is well-crafted. There are no tears or collar stains, and it's in excellent condition, making it a valuable piece. All the button loops are present. The fabric is crisp, and even when worn normally, the sleeves don't droop, but hold their shape. This is an item I can confidently offer. Founded in 1862, it's sometimes featured in American treasure hunting documentaries, showcasing displays, cash registers, clothing, and liquor bottles. While not extremely famous, it certainly symbolizes American department store culture, and in recent years, prices have been gradually increasing in overseas auctions, especially for clothing. I own many vintage items, and I'm gradually organizing my collection. This particular piece, with this pattern, from this era, and in this condition, rarely appears on the market. It's a piece I'm reluctant to part with, but I haven't had the opportunity to wear it.
