The Originals are famous for their sweet soul of the 60s and early 70s (such as "Baby I'm For Real"), but this 1981 release features self-covers of those famous songs, incorporating 80s-style synthesizers and a heavy funk beat. While retaining their sweet harmonies, the backing tracks are very danceable and sophisticated, resulting in "danceable soul" that is easy to use in today's club scene. US original pressing.
