This is a Seto tokkuri (sake bottle). It is estimated to be from the Edo period. It has a well-worn texture, with thin cracks (kannyu) and a beautiful ash glaze. It holds about 2 go (a unit of volume, approximately 360ml) of sake, and its size makes it a perfect item for drinking alone.
