I purchased this in the summer and used it for my newborn up to 4 months old. I'm selling it because my baby gained weight and I switched to a baby carrier with a hip seat. It took some practice to get used to the sling, but it wasn't a problem after watching some how-to videos! During the newborn stage, I was nervous about the neck area with carriers like Ergobaby, so I loved using this sling, which allowed for close contact. It was useful for walks around the neighborhood and putting the baby to sleep at home, and because of the close contact, the baby often fell asleep quickly. Another advantage is that it's much lighter and more compact than a baby carrier, so it doesn't take up much space. Also, because the pattern is striped, it's easy to see at a glance if you've threaded it through the rings correctly, which is convenient. The condition shows some signs of use, but there are no tears or frays, and there are no problems with using it.
