[Before Use] Newly lacquered or urethane-coated lacquerware may have a characteristic odor. The smell may be more noticeable when hot food is placed inside. While sensitivity to odors varies from person to person, if you find it bothersome, please try the following methods: ・Open the lid and air dry in a well-ventilated room. ・Pour hot water (around 60-70°C) into the box, stir gently, and discard. Repeat this process several times. ・Soak in rice water with a small amount of vinegar for about an hour. ・Wipe with a cloth dampened with diluted edible vinegar. ・Place in a rice bin for several hours. After repeating these steps, wash with dish soap. While the odor may not disappear completely, it will be reduced. [Care Instructions] 1. After use, pour hot or cold water into the box to loosen any dirt. ※Do not soak in water for extended periods. 2. Wash with household dish soap and a sponge (scrubber), being careful not to scrub too hard. 3. Rinse thoroughly after washing. Rinsing with hot water can also help with drying. After rinsing, wipe with a soft cloth and dry thoroughly to ensure all moisture is removed.
