This is a set of two Kongojo walking sticks, fully stamped with the imprints from all the mountain huts on the Yoshida, Subashiri, Gotemba, and Fujinomiya routes of Mount Fuji in 2013, the year it was registered as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site. It also includes imprints from the Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha Okumiya and Kusushi Shrine at the summit, as well as the Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha, Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Shrine, and Higashiguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Shrine at the foot of the mountain. (Completes the set with two sticks.) The Kongojo sticks are densely covered with imprints on both sides. The only exception is Taiyokan, which does not offer imprints, but instead has a sticker. Some of the mountain hut imprints are stamped with the year, confirming they are from 2013. These sticks were actually used for climbing Mount Fuji, so there are scratches and dirt from use, which should be appreciated as part of their character. By the way, when you climb with these, foreigners often exclaim, "Oh! Cool!" I climbed all the courses every other week and collected these as keepsakes. I'd like to keep them, but I'm willing to sell them to a core enthusiast who shares my appreciation. Therefore, the price is high.
