This is an old fishing rod, but I only used it for about a year. For the past few years, I've used it once a year to take a friend fishing for ayu (sweetfish). There are scratches from use, but I think it's still perfectly usable. I broke the second section from the tip, so I've replaced the first and second sections with parts from a different ayu rod. (The broken second section has been modified so that the tip side can be passed through from the butt side, and I'll include it as an accessory, as shown in photo ⑥). The total length is about 8m, making it easy to handle. It's a good choice for those who are just starting to fish for ayu, or for taking friends who have never fished for ayu before.
