Looking at film cameras for sale these days, many are listed with claims like "working/serviced," but even if they work, there can be problems that only appear after you put film in and take pictures. You can't be sure just because it's working. I want you to enjoy buying cameras that have definitely had film run through them and taken pictures. (Film and developing costs add up, after all.) Also, the Field Director cameras, due to their nature, are often used on construction sites, and it's common for fine sand to get into the gaps of the camera. However, my Field Director has been overhauled to remove such sand and dirt, so I can offer you a cleaner camera than you might find elsewhere. I've also taken pictures with film to confirm it works, cleaned it with an overhaul, lubricated the rubber parts to prevent cracking from deterioration. Most of the film cameras I sell are from my collection, which have had film run through them. I'm selling them to organize my collection, and I hope to pass them on to the next owner.
