From the medieval period (around 1300) to the beginning of the Showa era, the Takasebune Yokan from Komiya conveys the "connecting spirit" of the Takasebune boats that were once seen on the major rivers and clear streams across the country. Carefully crafted with meticulously selected azuki beans, each bean is chosen with care. The best time to eat it is when a thin layer of "shari" (surface crystallization) appears on the surface, which takes about 3 weeks. *This product will be shipped immediately after production. Immediately after production, the surface does not have crystallization (shari). Crystallization occurs about 3 weeks*Note 1) after production, so customers who prefer shari should wait a while after purchase. Also, opening the package and storing it in a cool, room-temperature place will cause shari to form more quickly. *Note 1: 3 weeks is the average time for natural formation and does not guarantee crystallization.
