Combining functionality and design, "THE NORTH FACE: A Genuine Masterpiece" An original vintage THE NORTH FACE down jacket, the so-called "brown tag" produced from the 1970s to the early 80s, with the Made in the U.S.A. label. This vintage item features a classic box silhouette, large flap pockets with hand warmers, a coil-type double zipper by Rocket TALON, snap buttons engraved with THE NORTH FACE, a generous amount of down, and a drawcord on the inside waist. ● This is a one-owner item that has been cherished for over 45 years. I believe it is in very clean condition overall for its age. Also, the TALON coil-type double zipper is in very clean condition and moves smoothly. However, there are some age-related scuffs, stains, and damage to the Velcro, but this gives it a unique vintage feel, making it a great addition to any collection. Please check the images for details. ● The size is USA size M. It is equivalent to a Japanese size L to XL. For reference, I am 176.5 cm tall, weigh 70 kg, and have a chest measurement of 90 cm, and it fits with a little room, a relaxed fit. ● The material is, I believe, Outer: 65% polyester, 35% cotton Lining: 100% nylon It has a texture similar to Sierra Designs' 60/40 fabric. ● The color is a reddish-orange, like vermilion; the images are relatively close in color. If I had to say, perhaps a little brighter? More orange-like? The colors in images 6 and 7 are the closest. ● This is a very cherished item, but I am offering it for sale as part of a decluttering effort.
