This shape of cup is not very common and is rare. It is slightly larger than the standard Royal Copenhagen demitasse cup, so it seems good for drinking coffee. In our home, where we don't drink espresso, we use this size cup for Chinese tea, as well as for cold soups and potages. I like that it's small and doesn't take up much space in the cupboard, so I end up collecting various ones. I have kept it in the box when I purchased the Blue Flower series set. I opened it for the photos, but it is new and unused. There is one spot where the color is missing on the cup (Image 11). There is a place near the handle where the glaze is not applied (Image 5). Both of these were made during the manufacturing process and are often seen in old Royal Copenhagen products. Otherwise, it is clean with no scratches, stains, cracks, or chips. It is an old item, but it is in very good condition. I think those who are looking for old items in good condition will be satisfied, but it is a home-stored item, so please consider it only if you understand. Please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for a perfect condition. I am selling this item separately from a set purchase, so there is no dedicated box for this item.
