The pastel colors (softer than in the photos) and unique color transitions are lovely, and the yarn feels wonderful. The ribbing is finished with a stretchy bind-off. Hand-knitted socks are thicker than commercially available socks and are soft to wear. Wool is warm and absorbent, and the addition of nylon (polyamide) makes them durable, so you can wear them all year round. They have been washed, so you can wear them immediately. You can machine wash them in a laundry net at a water temperature of 40°C or less.
