Her younger brother, parents, and her grandmother, who lives separately, are diagnosed with dementia. Remo struggles with this, involves people in the shopping district, and finally, with her beloved cat and dog, they settle into a special nursing home. (This is a complete spoiler... I'm sorry.) I was involved in caring for my late mother who had dementia, and I spent days with no end in sight. Eventually, it exceeded my tolerance (like water overflowing a cup), and I went through four difficult years both mentally and physically. At that time, I wished there was a book that could lighten my heart and help me learn more about dementia. That's how this book came to be. I hope this book can lighten the hearts of as many people as possible. That's why I'm selling it at a low price. The book ends with the character moving into a nursing home. However, I researched and included information about a unique "special nursing home that accepts pets" in Yokosuka City, the only one of its kind in Japan. Contact information is also provided. Many places claim to be "nursing homes that accept pets," but they often ask residents to "take them back" when the resident passes away. This home, however, takes care of the pets until the very end, even after the resident's death, which is a blessing. I want to let many people know that such places exist.
