I purchased this at an antique market when I lived in the United States. The soft light through the milk glass is very soothing, making it a wonderful lamp. You turn the key-like switch clockwise to turn it on and off. You can plug it directly into a Japanese outlet without any problems. There are no cracks or chips. There is some age-related soiling, a rusty appearance, and minor scratches, but overall, I think it's in very good condition. You can use the milk glass base to place accessories, etc. Please purchase this item if you understand vintage, antique, and used items. Cord color: Brown ★Additional Information★ It seems a part is missing between the gold base and the milk glass below, so it doesn't stay firmly in place and rotates. It won't fall out when lifted. I think it should be fine for use when placed on a surface.
