"Taikou Kiyomasa" refers to Kato Kiyomasa (加藤清正), a loyal vassal of Toyotomi Hideyoshi, known as a fierce general and castle architect. The name combines Hideyoshi's title "Taikou" (太閤) with Kiyomasa's name, often used affectionately to express the deep master-servant relationship and their shared origin in Owari Nakamura. Kiyomasa supported Hideyoshi's unification of Japan and was one of the "Seven Spears of Shizugatake." He is also remembered for his achievements in building Kumamoto Castle and in water management and new rice field development, and is still revered today as "Seishoko-san" (清正公さん).
