☆ This is a "Yotsume Ami" (four-eye weave) bamboo basket, made by carefully creating strips from fresh madake bamboo (Fukuoka Prefecture), chamfering each one, and weaving them together.
☆ The rim is wrapped and secured with 2mm-wide Yamato Kagari.
☆ This is a domestically-made bamboo basket with excellent drainage and breathability. Bamboo baskets are ideal for cooking because they don't easily form a film of water, allowing for quick drainage, and they are also heat-resistant. Furthermore, they are made of natural materials, so they are safe to use.
☆ Usable in any season, the delicate weave is beautiful and can be displayed as storage (^^)
- Spring = Tempura of rapeseed flowers, etc.
- Summer = Zaru soba, zaru udon, pickled plums
- Autumn = Roasted sweet potatoes and dried vegetables
