It has a firm core material, similar to a hardball glove, and shows no signs of wear, but I'm listing it as a soft ball glove. It seems like it could be used for hardball if the grease is reapplied (personal opinion). This is an old Kubota Slugger model. As some of you may know, Kubota Slugger's black leather, especially in the older models, has an exceptional leather quality. As you can see in the images, the leather is fine-grained and supple, a texture not found in current Kubota Slugger gloves. For the listing, I've applied more than half a bottle of Proteios and maintained it. I'm also listing another Kubota Slugger glove, but I personally believe Proteios suits the older Slugger models. This is my recommended maintenance method. You'll understand the effect of Proteios once you touch it. Suitable for game use, winter practice, or as a collector's item. ※Problem Area The maintenance area has deteriorated. It shouldn't be noticeable if you wear a glove, but please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned. A glove repair specialist can likely fix it for around 5000 yen. Proteios is not included.
