Celadon Hand-Molded Ring Flower Bowl, Circa Meiji/Taisho Era This is a considerably old piece. Celadon is a type of ceramic that is fired at high temperatures with a glaze containing a small amount of iron, resulting in a bluish-green color. This bowl has a ring flower shape with a wavy edge, and the inside of the vessel is decorated with a pattern resembling plum blossoms and branches. It was displayed on a display shelf at home. There are kiln marks and a small crack on the side of the foot. See photos. ☆This is an old, antique item that has been stored at home for a long time.
