Unearthed during a storage cleanup. A parasol from the early Showa era. This was a fashion item for women wearing Ashikaga Meisen. It has been preserved in its case, which has the shop name on it. Inside the cardboard case is a black lace parasol. It appears to be almost unused. There is a very small stain on the top surface (photo 8) and some rust from the umbrella ribs on the underside (photos 9-11).
