This is a GEWA Jaeger violin case. I was attracted by its luxurious appearance and purchased it, but it was too heavy (about 3kg) for me... Unfortunately, it doesn't suit me. I'm sad to part with it, but I'll pass it on to someone who will cherish it. Here are a few things to note: • The model seems to be from recent years, so it's not that old, but there is some deterioration of the black trim (synthetic leather) on the exterior. The original owner seems to have repaired most of it with synthetic leather tape, but some of it is still flaking off. (This seems to be a common issue with recent GEWA cases...) • There are no straps. • Because of its weight, it's good for carrying in a car or storing a secondary instrument. • Compared to the exterior, the interior is very clean and in good condition. • As you would expect from Jaeger, the zippers and metal fittings are gold-colored, giving it a luxurious and dignified feel down to the details.
