Both Low and Hi outputs are good. The Hi input produces a sound that is Hi, as the name suggests, but increasing the Gain also increases the risk of noise, so it is recommended to set the amplifier itself to a Low clean setting and create your desired sound with effects pedals, etc. Given the size, it's likely for home use, so you probably won't set it to a very loud output, but it has enough power to hold its own in a studio setting.
