ZEN-ON Morales A rather rare M-50 by Morales. Likely manufactured in the 1970s, approximately 50 years old since its production. There are small areas of clouding and some scratches, but it's quite clean and shiny. The neck is straight, and the truss rod has room in both directions. The frets have about 80% life remaining, judging by appearance. String height is 2.3mm at the 12th fret on the 6th string, and about 2mm on the 1st string side. The top is probably solid spruce. The sides and back are rosewood plywood. The wood grain is magnificent. The fingerboard is likely ebony. The neck appears to be mahogany. It has a dignified Martin-esque atmosphere, and the neck grip is slightly thick. The tuners have been replaced with recent GROVER ones. It has a core sound with strong sound pressure, long sustain, and considerable volume. I believe it has a wonderful sound quality with a strong presence. Morales' 50 series is rarely seen, making it a valuable Japanese vintage guitar. Cleaned and new strings replaced. Please take a look at the photos, and immediate purchase is welcome. It will be shipped in a general-purpose hard case for shipping, wrapped in bubble wrap.
