This fly is well-known to those interested, so no explanation is needed. Even with a small hook size, it's famous as a big fish hunter. The two black types are the Peacock Sword Wing pattern and the Mallard Wing pattern. The shine of the peacock sword is surprisingly effective for rainbow trout. The Mallard Wing wet fly is recommended for the early season. This fly is also effective as a terrestrial, so it's also recommended for using on char in headwaters. The yellow one is effective for mayfly rivers. Try using a sinking leader and slowly swim it along the riverbed.
