This versatile guard prevents baby's feet and hands from getting caught in the crib rails, and also stops older siblings from putting toys inside. I was worried about suffocation with the common cushion type, so I used a mesh one year-round. The way to attach it to the rails is flexible, and it can fit various crib shapes.
