Early Helios 44-2, produced 55 years ago, is an M42 mount lens. I acquired it as an unused dead stock item. It comes in its original case, wrapped in the original packaging paper. The lens has been disassembled and serviced, so it functions without any problems. Both the focus ring and the aperture ring move smoothly, and there are no oil stains on the aperture blades. The lens surfaces are in pristine condition, with no scratches, and are in an unused state. There is no mold, haze, or balsam separation.
