Shakuhachi flute, Shishida-ryu Takusui. It is a 7-hon choshi, 7-hole, tenchi tou-maki, natural color finish. This is a Shishida-ryu Takusui shakuhachi flute crafted by the second-generation flute maker, Chuichi Ito, of Ito Chikukangakki Seisakusho, who succeeded the flute maker Shishida of the late Edo period. The well-dried bamboo has turned a natural color, and the sound quality and tone are excellent, resulting in a wonderful instrument. Highly recommended. Please be very careful with temperature changes. Occasionally, lightly apply plant-based oil, such as salad oil, and gently wipe it with a dry cloth. We hope you will handle it with care.
