This mouthpiece was carefully crafted under the supervision of Mr. Yamashita of the Kyushu Symphony Orchestra. I purchased it when I was a beginner on bass trombone, and I am now selling it because I have upgraded to a different size. Here are the specifications: Rim Inner Diameter: 26.8mm (similar to Bach 2G) Throat Inner Diameter: 7.1mm HY2J 3 ← (Large Shank) According to the specifications listed at a certain musical instrument store, there is only a "B" for 2J, but for some reason, this one is marked "3," so it seems to be compatible with tenor bass trombones. I also played a tenor bass trombone with this mouthpiece, and I was able to play the Bolero solo without any discomfort. Of course, it also worked well on a bass trombone, producing a full sound. In a way, it might be a rare item... As you can see, it looks like it's designed specifically for German-made trombones, but thanks to the long shank, the vibrations are well-transmitted to Yamaha and American-made instruments, making it easy to play and producing a good resonance. This is my personal impression, but it was very positive!! As you can see, the rim is thin, so it can be tiring, but the articulation is clear. With good control, it seems like it would be suitable for both tenor bass and bass trombones! In a brass band, it seems like it would be suitable for 2nd and 3rd parts, covering the entire range. Of course, this is a used item, so there are some scratches on the shank from insertion. Please rest assured that there are no drops or other damage. I think it is generally in good condition, but there are some minor scratches from use, so please consider the photos. The box is not included, and it will be shipped wrapped in bubble wrap. Please refrain from bidding if you are looking for a new item or if you are very particular about condition.
