Tension retainer for 3+3 peghead guitars. This type can be installed on headstocks where the peg posts are secured to the headstock surface with hex nuts. I used it on an Epiphone. However, please confirm compatibility yourself. To install, remove the 5th and 2nd string pegs from the headstock, sandwich the claws on both sides of this retainer, and then re-tighten. Therefore, it probably won't work with pegs that don't have hex nuts on the headstock surface. The effect varies from person to person, but it is said to improve intonation, tuning stability, and string tension. I think it's an interesting part that's hard to find, so please consider it.
