It is said to release with significantly less force compared to other devices in guide mode, and the carabiner hole for release is also large. Compatible with rope diameters of single 8.7-11mm / half and twin 7.3-9.2mm. For those who don't often use guide mode, I don't think there's much benefit to using this product considering the price, etc. For those who do multi-pitch climbing, why not try it out for second belaying/lowering?
