This is a katazome komon (stencil-dyed patterned kimono) in refreshing colors. It's a bit difficult to see, but the flowers are colored only in certain areas, specifically on the upper front, from the back of the right sleeve to the shoulder, giving it a slightly tsukesage (semi-formal kimono) feel.
